Hi, I’m Thanh Nguyen, also known as 阮天青 or テンセイ, an aspiring computer science student at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the United States. I have a passion for the web and 3D printing. My past affiliations include Hope College and Meiji Gakuin University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies.
My long term aspirations are to become proficient in full stack web development and to develop a working knowledge of native mobile development in order to improve the accessibility of content and services in all form factors.
My hobbies generally break down into three areas: electronics (primarily arduino/AVR), 3D printing, and photography. My printers are a Printrbot Play, and a FolgerTech 2020 Prusa i3. I’m looking to add a delta robot style 3D printer or a CoreXY style 3D printer in the future. I enjoy digital and film photography, with my favorite cameras being Olympus MFT, the Olympus OM series, and the “Blackbird, Fly” TLR toy camera. Photos are on flickr.
My preferred social networking service is Twitter.
